1xBet begins clean-water initiative in Indore ahead of Independence Day
1xBet launched a charitable water purification initiative in Indore ahead of India’s Independence Day, beginning operations in the Bhagirathpura, Pardesipura and Panda neighbourhoods and organising a cleanup of water bodies and sewage drains on August 14.
The effort responds to a reported deterioration of underground infrastructure in recent years that left local drinking supplies vulnerable. Sewage contamination of potable water in the affected neighbourhoods had been linked to widespread illness among residents. The project was implemented with the support of a local organisation specialising in addressing such issues. As part of the campaign, 50-liter coolers were installed in public areas to provide immediate access to clean drinking water. The brand also donated 200 on-site purification kits to remote communities identified as facing the most critical conditions. Those distributions were intended to supplement direct water access while longer-term measures were carried out.
A special powdered substance included in the purification kits can help purify enough water for 2,000–3,000 families, according to the organisers, a measure described as capable of reducing the harmful effects of contaminated water on community residents.
To support sustained improvement in local water quality, 1xBet organised the cleanup of water bodies and sewage drains on August 14. Local activists from partner groups were brought in to carry out the work, while 1xBet supplied all necessary equipment and personal protective gear for the operation.
The company placed emphasis on public education alongside physical interventions; brand representatives distributed more than 500 informational leaflets to residents of Bhagirathpura and Pardesipura. The leaflets provided practical recommendations on groundwater collection and described purification methods for safe consumption.
Helping residents of Bhagirathpura, Pardesipura and Panda is described by the organisers as the beginning of a larger initiative, and 1xBet plans to carry out similar projects in other parts of India.
