AEW star PAC was found unresponsive in his car outside a CAVA on Mannheim Road in Des Plaines, Illinois, a day after he wrestled at AEW’s All Out 2026 pay-per-view, officials said after a 911 call placed at 3:53 pm brought emergency services to the scene. Audio of that call has been obtained by TMZ and released publicly.

The Bastard’s death was announced earlier and the release of the 911 recording supplied new information about the moments before first responders arrived. The exact cause of death remains under investigation and authorities are awaiting further testing.

In the recording, the caller initially misidentified the person in the vehicle because of long hair and then corrected themselves, saying it was a man. The caller told dispatch: “I’m at the CAVA on Mannheim Road in Des Plaines and I was getting in my car and the person next to me is passed out in their car. I don’t know. She doesn’t look too well and her car is running. It’s a man, I’m sorry”.

The caller described attempts to rouse the individual and signs of unresponsiveness, saying: “We’ve been banging on the window for I want to say, like, five minutes now. His face is, like, straight down. Apparently their eyes are open, too. I don’t see his chest moving at all.” Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter, attempted resuscitation, and PAC was pronounced dead at 4:08 pm, 15 minutes after the 911 call.

A police report notes items and marks found in PAC’s vehicle, including a stain that resembled saliva on his T-shirt, two suitcases and a backpack containing medication. These details were recorded by investigators at the scene.

Investigators also noted that the Google Maps application on PAC’s phone was set for an airport at the time, although it was later stated that the Death Riders member was heading to his hometown in the United Kingdom. No further travel details were provided in the material released.

A full autopsy and additional testing have been ordered, and officials say the cause of death will be determined once those examinations are complete.
