After lacklustle performances in the T20I series against the West Indies, Sanju Samson has come under fire and ex-India cricketer Aakash Chopra said 'It cannot happen' about replacing him with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Chopra advised against dropping Samson for Sooryavanshi, asserting Samson's previous accomplishments merit further chances.
Debate continued over Nitish Kumar Reddy joining the squad, but his entry seems unlikely imminently. The coverage said talks surrounding India's opening combination will likely persist as long as performance concerns remain.
