Abhishek Sharma hits five sixes to equal Suryakumar Yadav's T20I calendar-year sixes record

In a T20I against West Indies on 11 October 2026, Abhishek Sharma hit five sixes and equalled Suryakumar Yadav's record for the most sixes in a T20 calendar year.

He finished with 69 runs off 30 deliveries and took his total to 68 sixes for 2026.

Ishan Kishan also contributed significantly as India amassed 223 runs in their innings.
