India’s Vaishnavi Adkar and Rutuja Bhosale became the first all-Indian women’s pair to reach a main WTA Tour doubles final at the Chennai Open on November 7, 2026.

They beat second seeds Weronika Falkowska and Alana Smith 6-2, 2-6, 10-8, overturning the match in the super tie-break.

They will face Swiss duo Naima Karamoko and Simona Waltert in the final.
