AEW announces death of Benjamin Satterley (PAC) after appearance at AEW All Out in Chicago
All Elite Wrestling announced on September 28, 2026 via its X account that Benjamin Satterley — known as PAC in AEW and formerly Neville in WWE — has passed away at the age of 40, news that arrived hours after his appearance at AEW All Out in Chicago.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.” — All Elite Wrestling.
Satterley competed on the UK independent circuit beginning in 2004 and joined WWE in 2012 under the ring name Neville. During his WWE tenure he captured the NXT Championship, the NXT Tag Team Championship and the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. He left WWE in 2018.
In AEW, Satterley was the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion (now the AEW International Championship), a two-time AEW Trios Champion and a member of the Death Riders faction led by Jon Moxley, fka Dean Ambrose. AEW’s statement noted his in-ring style and global career and offered condolences to his family, friends and fans.
At AEW All Out in Chicago on Saturday, Satterley wrestled Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship and later appeared in the main event to aid his Death Riders stablemate Jon Moxley in Moxley’s World title match against Will Ospreay. The promotion’s announcement came just hours after those appearances at the pay-per-view.
