AEW star PAC, formerly WWE's Neville, dies aged 40

Benjamin Satterley, the 40-year-old AEW performer known as PAC and formerly as Neville in WWE, has died, All Elite Wrestling announced on its X account on 28 September 2026. AEW confirmed the news in a statement and extended condolences to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.

A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 on the UK independent circuit before competing for promotions including PWG and Dragon Gate. He joined WWE in 2012 under the ring name Neville and during his WWE tenure captured the NXT Championship, NXT Tag Team Championship and WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Satterley departed WWE in 2018 and signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, where he became the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion (AEW International Championship), a two-time AEW Trios Champion and a member of the Death Riders faction led by Jon Moxley.

AEW posted a full statement on X: “All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”

Satterley competed at AEW All Out on Saturday in Chicago, wrestling Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship and later appearing in the pay-per-view main event to assist stablemate Jon Moxley in the World title match against Will Ospreay. The promotion did not provide additional details about circumstances surrounding his death.
