Alex Albon seeks Thailand as third Formula 1 home race

Williams driver Alex Albon said ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang that his goal is to have three home races and he wants Thailand to join his current two Formula 1 home races, Singapore and Malaysia.

Albon’s Thai heritage could give him a third home event as Thailand is targeting a potential F1 race in Bangkok from 2028.

Speaking to the Times of India, Albon discussed his growing role in developing Williams’ future cars and the value of driver experience.
