Algonquin and Neutralist stand out in Pune morning gallops

Algonquin and Neutralist stood out when horses were exercised in Pune on Thursday morning, Aug. 13. The session featured timed gallops across distances from 600m to 1400m and included split times and movement notes for each runner.

Also at 800m, Neutralist (A. Gaikwad) was timed at 50, 600/37 and Moved attractively. Scaramouche (T.S. Jodha) did 52, 600/38, Worked well; Jagger (T.S. Jodha) 53, 600/39, Slightly urged; Mystica (Mosin) 52, 600/39, Worked well.

At 1000m, Regina Memorabilis (Neeraj) and Bright Button (Hamir) recorded 1-8 with 800/54 and 600/41; they moved level freely.

Over 1200m, Arrived (Vivek) and Savage Peacock (Santosh) recorded 1-23 with 1000/1-7, 800/52, 600/39; the former started three lengths behind and easily finished level. Note the former. Fynbos (Vivek) and Rosario (Kirtish) ran 1-27, 800/56, 600/42 and were described as easy. Zayyan (Kirtish) and Jaandaar (Vivek) posted 1-23, 1000/1-7, 800/52, 600/39 with the former two lengths superior. Naledi (Umesh) and Sanctified (Vivek) did 1-22, 1000/1-7, 800/52, 600/39 with the former finishing four lengths ahead.

Algonquin (Mosin) worked over 1400m in 1-34 with splits 1200/1-19, 1000/1-5, 800/51, 600/38 and was recorded as Moved impressively.
