Anastasios Douvikas hat-trick puts Como striker top of UEFA Champions League 2026-27 scoring charts
Anastasios Douvikas scored a hat-trick for Como against Lens on Wednesday, November 4 to move to six goals in four UEFA Champions League 2026-27 matches and become the competition’s current top scorer.
The 27-year-old Greek centre-forward plays for Italian Serie A club Como 1907 and represents the Greece national team; he has found the net in each of Como’s Champions League fixtures this season, having previously scored once against Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Feyenoord.
Against Lens, Douvikas opened the scoring in the seventh minute, doubled his tally in the 32nd minute and completed his hat-trick in the 57th minute, and he also provided the assist for Nico Paz’s goal in the 40th minute.
His total of six goals places him ahead of fellow competitors in the scoring race, with Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Raphinha named among the players trailing him.
Douvikas progressed through Greek football with a notable 11-goal season at Volos before moving abroad; he finished as the Eredivisie’s joint-top scorer with 19 goals in the 2022-23 season, then joined Celta Vigo in LaLiga where he contributed goals in domestic and Copa del Rey matches and was described in a social post as having "been a bench player at Celta Vigo."
He transferred to Como in February 2025 for €14 million, scored 14 Serie A goals in his first half-season to help the club reach European qualification, and subsequently signed a long-term contract running until June 2031; at Como he leads the line for Cesc Fàbregas’ team and is characterised as more of a roaming No. 9 than a fixed target man.
