Apex Legends x Godzilla crossover confirmed for November 10, 2026

Respawn Entertainment announced an Apex Legends collaboration with Godzilla during the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs Match Point Finals, and the crossover is scheduled to begin on November 10, 2026. The studio said the event will include legendary cosmetics, a new universal heirloom and a limited-time Wildcard game experience.

The reveal follows Godzilla Day celebrations marking the franchise’s 72nd anniversary. Respawn’s initial teaser for the crossover highlighted the scale of the content drop and confirmed the November 10 launch date for the limited-time experience.

The crossover will introduce 10 exclusive Legend skins, each inspired by monsters and characters from the Godzilla universe. Respawn specified that the Jet Jaguar Octane skin can be unlocked through the event pass and that the Ghidorah Catalyst skin will appear on the premium reward track.

Players will also be able to acquire nine Legendary Godzilla-themed weapon skins, which Respawn listed for the Devotion, Hemlock, Rampage, CAR, Havoc, Longbow, Wingman, Prowler and Sentinel. Those weapon cosmetics are presented as part of the event’s premium and reward-track offerings.

A new Universal Heirloom called the Dorsal Dagger will be made available during the crossover; Respawn described it as inspired by Godzilla’s glowing dorsal fins and equippable by any Legend. The Dorsal Dagger is identified as a mythic melee weapon that comes with a matching themed Death Box and can be obtained from special Godzilla Event Packs.

Wildcard mode will receive a Godzilla-themed variant for the event, with Respawn detailing environmental damage on Storm Point — including destroyed buildings and burned forests — to reflect the monster’s presence. The developer said players will find special care packages near Godzilla’s Heat Ray strikes, and those drops will include a custom Devotion LMG tied to the Heat Ray mechanic that can track opponents.

Respawn reiterated that the crossover’s skins draw on a broad portion of the Godzilla mythos, naming inspirations such as Godzilla, Mothra, Mechagodzilla, Ghidorah, Destoroyah, SpaceGodzilla and Jet Jaguar among others. The studio positioned those references as the thematic basis for the event’s cosmetic suite.
