Arsenal youngster Max Dowman was officially presented with three Guinness World Records certificates recognising his transition into the senior team under Mikel Arteta, according to a Khel Now report published on 8 October 2026. The England youth international achieved all three titles before turning 17.

A Hale End graduate, Dowman had committed to a professional contract prior to his 17th birthday and has rewritten record books in both domestic and continental competitions. He established himself as one of Europe’s emerging talents through rapid progression from the academy into first-team involvement. His rise has been tracked in coverage of club milestones and international youth representation.

Dowman made history in European competition by becoming the youngest player in UEFA Champions League history during a 3-0 win over Slavia Prague in November 2025. Those continental achievements were matched by domestic milestones as the Premier League’s youngest scorer and youngest winner. The combination of these breakthroughs has earned him a place in the organisation’s ‘Class of ’27’.

Tom Beckerlegge, Senior Editor of Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027, said: “The youngest player on our list, Max sums up what the Class of ’27 is all about. To have already achieved three Guinness World Records titles before turning 17 is extraordinary, and his story captures exactly why this generation of players is so exciting.”

Dowman made his senior debut in a 5-0 victory over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium in August 2025. He followed that appearance with a clinical brace in the League Cup last month, a contribution noted as strengthening his bid for a regular senior role. The certificates were presented in recognition of his record-breaking rise through English and European football.

His three Guinness World Records specifically record him as the youngest Champions League player, the youngest Premier League scorer and the youngest Premier League winner. Dowman is now expected to play a larger part in Mikel Arteta’s front line as Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis recover from injury.
