Arshdeep Singh after Duleep Trophy win: 'Very rarely do I get chance to play red-ball cricket'

India pacer Arshdeep Singh took four wickets in North Zone’s 52-run win over West Zone in the Duleep Trophy, according to a report published on August 26, 2026.
He said he had specifically trained with the red ball and used the Duleep Trophy to prove his readiness for Test cricket after a long gap from red-ball cricket.
Arshdeep also stressed the value of patience, tactical bowling and domestic cricket in preparing for Tests.
