At the 2026 Asian Games, India's badminton pairs Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand and Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Treesa and Gayatri were defeated by Malaysian duo Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan, while Kapila and Crasto lost to the world number one Chinese pair.
India's hopes in singles remain alive with PV Sindhu and Unnati Hooda competing later.
