Asian Games 2026 men’s cricket semi-finals set for October 1 in Nisshin
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will contest the men’s cricket semi-finals at the Asian Games 2026 on October 1 at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Japan. The winners of the two semi-finals will advance to the gold medal match scheduled for October 3.
All four semi-finalists reached the last-four following a rain-affected quarter-final stage. India entered the semi-final phase as the top seed and progressed after their quarter-final against Afghanistan was washed out. Sri Lanka moved into the last four after their quarter-final against Nepal was abandoned. Pakistan advanced after their quarter-final against Hong Kong, China, was abandoned, while Bangladesh secured a semi-final place when their quarter-final against Malaysia was washed out.
The first semi-final will pair Pakistan with Bangladesh on October 1, scheduled to begin at 5:30 AM IST. India will meet Sri Lanka in the second semi-final on the same day with a scheduled start of 10:30 AM IST. Both matches are set to be played at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Japan.
Korogi Sports Park has hosted several matches during the Asian Games 2026. The bronze medal match and the gold medal match are both scheduled for October 3. Those two fixtures will conclude the men’s cricket competition at the Games.
