Atletico Madrid v Manchester United: Champions League meeting at Estadio Metropolitano on October 13, 2026

Atletico Madrid will host Manchester United at Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on October 13, 2026, in a second-round league phase fixture of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27. In India the match will kick off at 12:30 AM IST on October 14.

Atletico enter the fixture in strong domestic form, having won their last four matches in LaLiga and sitting second in the table with 19 points. Diego Simeone’s side registered consecutive 2-1 victories over Real Madrid and Deportivo Alaves. Despite that run, Los Colchoneros are still seeking their first UCL win of the season after a 2-1 away defeat to Liverpool in which Marcos Llorente had given them an early lead.

Manchester United arrive amid a poor run of results, remaining winless in their last four matches. Their recent sequence includes defeats to Manchester City and Brighton and draws with Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur. Those results have left the Red Devils 13th in the Premier League table and have increased pressure on head coach Michael Carrick.

In European competition Manchester United opened their Champions League campaign with a 4-0 victory over Sabah FK, a result that gave them a perfect start in the group. That win is the Red Devils’ only UCL result noted ahead of the trip to Madrid.

Viewers in India can watch the game on the Sony Sports Network channels and via live-stream on the SonyLIV app and website. In the United Kingdom the fixture will be available on TNT Sports, Amazon Prime and HBO Max, with BBC Radio 5 Live providing radio coverage.

Fans in Nigeria can tune in through SuperSport on DStv and GOtv, while viewers in the United States can watch via Paramount+, TUDN and DAZN.
