Australia were dismissed for 210 in their first innings at the Great Barrier Reef Stadium in Mackay on Sunday, August 23, 2026, on day two of the second Test against Bangladesh.

Fast-bowler Shoriful Islam took 7-48 and Cameron Green top-scored with a valuable 67 as the hosts batted through the day.

Australia had resumed on 165-8 in reply to the visitors' 64 all out and added 45 more runs to the overnight total.

Steve Smith contributed 42 and Nathan Lyon was not out on 32 during the innings.

Shoriful's 7-48 represented a career-best return and is the best figures by a Bangladesh bowler in an away Test.
