Baillee and Exhalt excel in Pune morning exercises

Baillee and Exhalt excelled when horses were exercised in Pune on Saturday (Aug. 29) morning. Multiple runners posted timed works over distances from 600m to 1400m during the session.

The morning gallops covered five standard distances and featured both sprint and middle-distance preparations. Exercises recorded included 600m, 800m, 1000m, 1200m and 1400m works. Trainers and riders used the session to assess fitness and finishing strength across pairs and small groups.

At 600m, Coffee At Eleven (Prasad) recorded 42. Easy.; Pentimento (app) and Snow Sky (Shelar) 42. Pair level.; Axlrod (T.S. Jodha) 38. Moved well. Over 800m, Exhalt (Merchant) did 51, 600/38. Pleased.; Red Merlot (Avinash) 55, 600/40. Easy.

In the 1000m bracket Organised Chaos (Ramswarup) and Rizz (Akram) clocked 1-9, 800/53, 600/40, with the former finishing three lengths ahead. Rinella (Antony Raj) posted 1-8, 800/53, 600/40. Moved well. Baillee (Gore) and Alexios (Antony Raj) recorded 1-7, 800/52, 600/39; the former was well in hand while the latter was pushed to finish level.

The 1200m works saw Jaandaar (Vivek) and Delilah (Kirtish) at 1-24, 1000/1-9, 800/54, 600/41, with Jaandaar starting three lengths behind and easily finishing level. Mahogany (A. Prakash) and Manuel (Yash) also did 1-24, 1000/1-8, 800/53, 600/39 and moved level freely. The Olive Crown (Ajinkya) and Monterey (C.S. Jodha) were timed 1-24, 1000/1-8, 800/53, 600/39; they were urged and the former finished four lengths ahead. Loyal Lover (Neeraj) recorded 1-26, 600/43. Moved fluently.

Over 1400m, Naledi (Vivek) and Bishop (A. Prakash) posted 1-39, 1200/1-24, 1000/1-9, 800/54, 600/40 and moved neck and neck freely. Acropolis (Yash) and Zoe (Kirtish) ran 1-41, 1000/1-11, 800/56, 600/42, with the former ending three lengths in front.
