Baillee, Rivayat and Starlight Serenade stand out in Pune morning gallops

Baillee, Rivayat and Starlight Serenade caught the eye when horses were exercised at Pune on the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, according to the race-day gallop report.

The session featured timed works over 600m, 800m and 1000m with riders and brief observers’ notes recorded for each heat. Jodha) 57, 600/42 easy; Baleno (Bhawani) 55, 600/41 moved freely; New Star (Vishal) and Golden Gun (Peter) 57, 600/42 pair easy; Inheritance (Mosin) 53, 600/40 moved freely; Alpha Strike (Mosin) and Bubbly Boy (Zeeshan) 52, 600/38 moved level freely.

At 1000m, The Olive Crown (Ajinkya) and Rizz (S. Kamble) were listed 1-9 with 800/53 and 600/39, with the former described as superior; David (Ramswarup) and Gonzalo (Santosh) were 1-9 with 800/54 and 600/40, David ending four lengths in front; Starlight Serenade (Ajinkya) was 1-5 with 800/51 and 600/39 and "responded well." Rise All Stars (Siddharth) 1-12, 600/44 was easy; Thalassa (Umesh) 1-8, 800/52, 600/39 moved well; Minari (Shelar) 1-7, 800/52, 600/39 maintains form; Madison (Neeraj) 1-10, 800/55, 600/41 moved freely.

Rivayat’s 800m work appears alongside Snow Girl (Hamir) at 51, 600/38 with the report stating the former "easily finished four lengths ahead," while Baillee’s 600m clocking of 36 was singled out as having "moved impressively," and Starlight Serenade’s 1000m line explicitly recorded as 1-5, 800/51, 600/39 with the note "responded well."
