Bangladesh 108-1 at Marrara as Australia v Bangladesh first men’s Test reaches day two
Australia Cricket Team

Australia and Bangladesh were playing the first men’s Test at Marrara Cricket Ground on day two, with Bangladesh 108-1 at the 28th over (Tanzid 37, Mominul 42).
Cummins adjusted his approach to around the wicket to Mominul and was fortunate when a half-volley was driven straight to the alert Labuschagne in the covers. The first attempted lifter of the day rose high enough to clip the batter’s bottom hand, and the bounce was slow and loopy, consistent with what has been seen all Test so far. There was little sideways movement on offer for Australia, and the tennis ball bounce meant the window of a good length was very short; AKA: a Scott Boland pitch.
