Bayern Munich are monitoring Porto winger Oskar Pietuszewski and could make a bid as early as next summer, Bild reported on 6 November 2026; the 18-year-old is being considered as an option to replace Luis Díaz, who has been sidelined for a long time. Bayern scouts have followed Pietuszewski in domestic and European competitions and are evaluating his profile.

Pietuszewski moved to Porto from Jagiellonia Białystok and is under contract through June 2031, a deal that includes a €60 million release clause. He has recorded four goals and four assists in 22 appearances for Porto, and after fitness problems in his first full season he recovered to be named on the bench for Porto’s UEFA Champions League match against Napoli. He was part of the Porto squad that won Liga Portugal in 2025–2026.

According to reports, Bayern and other clubs requested accreditation for Porto’s match against Napoli, with Milan among those also applying. Bild’s coverage noted Bayern have been informed about contract details and that discussions have already taken place. The club view follows Vincent Kompany’s temporary deployment of Alphonso Davies on the left side of the attack, with Pietuszewski identified as a potential classic left winger and backup for Díaz.

Pietuszewski progressed through the youth ranks at his hometown club and made history in Poland when, having appeared against Ajax in the Europa League qualifiers, he became the club’s youngest-ever debutant in European competition. He also won the Polish Super Cup with the first team before his transfer to Porto. Porto paid a reported €10 million for the move, a fee described as the largest ever for an Ekstraklasa player.

On the pitch Pietuszewski is noted for agility, quick acceleration and a low centre of gravity that help him in tight spaces; his dribbling and technical base allow him to cut inside onto his right foot. Reports describe him as a strong and accurate finisher and say he offers defensive contribution by tracking back and maintaining pace to press high when required.

He plays on the left flank for both FC Porto and the Polish national team and has attracted interest from several elite clubs, with Bild describing him as one of Bayern’s concrete candidates for next summer. Bayern’s scouting and the reported internal discussions set up the possibility of a formal approach during the next transfer window.
