BCCI to discuss associate membership for Andaman and Nicobar at AGM on Sept 18 in Mumbai

The BCCI will discuss granting associate membership to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands at its AGM in Mumbai on September 18.
The proposal was raised at an earlier Apex Council meeting and has been placed before the AGM for consideration.
If approved, the move would bring the Union Territory into the BCCI fold, but associate membership would not carry voting rights.
Associate membership would provide a pathway for Andaman and Nicobar to feature in India’s domestic cricket calendar.
