Manchester Super Giants beat Trent Rockets at Lord’s to win the final of The Hundred Men’s 2026, concluding the sixth edition of the competition in 2026. A best combined playing XI drawn from the 34-match tournament includes Jos Buttler and Mitchell Marsh among the standout selections.

The ECB’s privatisation of The Hundred franchises saw several Indian sporting groups take ownership stakes ahead of the 2026 edition. The tournament featured 34 matches in its revised, fast-paced format. Manchester Super Giants (formerly Manchester Originals) claimed the title at Lord’s, ending Oval Invincibles’ three-year winning streak.

New Zealand opener Tim Seifert was named Player of the Series after scoring 322 runs, including a match-winning 72 in the final for the Super Giants. Mitchell Marsh finished as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 406 runs in eight innings during his debut season for Sunrisers Leeds. Marsh’s total made him the highest scorer in the competition.

Ben Duckett ended the competition as the third-highest run-scorer with 306 runs for Trent Rockets. Joe Clarke operated in the middle order for the Phoenix and produced useful knocks across the campaign. Clarke’s ability to find boundaries in the middle phase contributed to his inclusion in the combined XI.

Jos Buttler served as a middle-order batter for Manchester Super Giants, leading the side with the bat and taking on captaincy after Aiden Markram. Sam Curran contributed 218 runs with the bat while also providing timely bowling breakthroughs, particularly in the death phase. The pair are named among the tournament’s key all-round contributors.

Marcus Stoinis scored 195 runs and finished as the season’s fifth-highest wicket-taker, fulfilling a role as a lower-order finisher for his side. Mitchell Santner, the Rockets’ spin-bowling all-rounder and New Zealand skipper, amassed 126 runs and picked up six wickets while maintaining economy through the middle overs. Santner also produced important knocks under pressure during the tournament.

Manchester Super Giants’ bowling unit featured Gus Atkinson, who took 12 wickets to spearhead their attack, with Josh Tongue supporting him and continuing strong shorter-format form. Richard Gleeson finished as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker and was highlighted as one of MI London’s best finds after their ownership change; he was described as a regular wicket-taker and a crucial asset to any side.

Manchester Super Giants secured their maiden The Hundred title with the victory at Lord’s. The compiled best combined XI is drawn from the individual batting, all-round and bowling performances recorded across the 34-match 2026 competition.
