Blake Monroe defeated Giulia in a street fight on WWE SmackDown at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California on October 23, 2026, Tiffany Stratton attempted but failed to officially cash in her Money in the Bank contract, and CM Punk versus Kevin Owens was announced for a future date. The show also featured title matches and a six-man tag that closed the broadcast.

SmackDown opened with four advertised matches, including two title defenses and the previously scheduled street fight between Giulia and Blake Monroe, and listed appearances from Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and Trick Williams. Sami Zayn addressed a recent segment with Roman Reigns and argued the WWE Championship remained the promotion’s most coveted title, prompting Rey Fenix to join him at ringside and spar with Johnny Gargano. Trick Williams interrupted that exchange, traded insults with Zayn and demanded a championship opportunity; SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then booked a tag team match pairing Zayn and Gargano against Williams and Fenix.

Chelsea Green retained the WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez after Raquel Rodriguez pushed Green off the top rope while the referee was distracted and Iyo Sky neutralized Rodriguez’s interference. Green hit her finisher on Perez for the pinfall, then Liv Morgan and Rodriguez attacked Green post-match until Tiffany Stratton rushed out to intervene and attempted to cash in her Money in the Bank contract. Perez and Rodriguez prevented Stratton from officially executing the cash-in, and Morgan escaped the scene with assistance from Perez and Rodriguez before any formal cash-in could occur.

The advertised street fight between Giulia and Blake Monroe began before Monroe reached the ring, with the referee starting the contest amid the brawl. The competitors used a pyramid of chairs, kendo sticks and a garbage can, and the action spilled backstage where Monroe was driven into a mirror; the broadcast noted the lack of visible injuries limited the segment’s impact. Monroe finished the match by hitting the Neutralizer for the victory.

Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley defended the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Michin and B-Fab with Jade Cargill at ringside; Cargill’s interference allowed Michin to hit a Styles Clash and secure the pin. Michin and B-Fab captured the tag team titles, ending Bliss and Paxley’s reign. A scheduled tag team match featuring Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki against Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga never officially began after Kyoki stole Haku’s walking stick and a brawl in the entrance aisle led officials to abandon the contest.

Randy Orton confronted Cody Rhodes on the program and Aldis announced a match between the rivals at Crown Jewel; Rhodes agreed to the contest only if it were contested as a Last Man Standing match. In a separate sit-down segment, CM Punk and Kevin Owens exchanged heated words, with Owens reminding Punk how he had helped Punk to win the title and Punk accusing Owens of costing him the match at Money in the Bank 2026 PLE. Aldis then scheduled Punk versus Owens for two weeks’ time at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The main-event sequence opened as Rey Fenix and Trick Williams versus Sami Zayn and Johnny Gargano, but Ricky Saints attacked Fenix and forced a disqualification before the match could progress; Penta then entered and suggested the encounter become a six-man tag. Trick Williams, Penta and Rey Fenix defeated Sami Zayn, Ricky Saints and Johnny Gargano when Williams pinned Saints with the Book End to close the show.

The Crown Jewel 2026 PLE will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 7. SmackDown presented these outcomes and announced matches as part of its ongoing build-up to that event.
