Blizzard confirms World of Warcraft Forever will launch worldwide on November 4, 2026

Blizzard confirmed in its roadmap release that World of Warcraft Forever will launch worldwide on November 4, 2026, with a simultaneous global release. The company also published region-based launch timings and a schedule of post-launch content.

Blizzard previously ran a public beta for Forever from September 17-22 and held early character creation between October 27 and November 3. The roadmap accompanying the launch announcement outlines content and progression changes for both PvE and PvP across the game’s classic continents, Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.

The roadmap states Blizzard is adding more than 1,000 new quests spanning the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor and expanding or introducing locations including Mount Hyjal, Shen’dralas, Riverglades and Zephras Isle. These additions are presented as part of enlarged world areas intended for the Forever release.

PvP progression will be overhauled with the introduction of Honor Points and Rank Points, and Blizzard says players will be able to earn exclusive rewards through battlegrounds, seasonal objectives, weekly challenges and PvP quests. The company framed these changes as a revamp of progression systems for organized competitive play.

The developer confirmed Forever will feature new raids and dungeons, a Hardcore mode, PvP updates, legendary quests and expanded world content to be rolled out throughout 2027.
