Borussia Dortmund v Eintracht Frankfurt: Bundesliga matchweek seven preview

Borussia Dortmund will host Eintracht Frankfurt at Signal Iduna Park on October 24, 2026, in a Bundesliga matchweek seven fixture with kick-off at 10:00 PM IST. The game pairs an unbeaten Dortmund side against an Eintracht team coming off a 1-0 league win over FC Köln.

Borussia Dortmund remain undefeated in the Bundesliga this season, recording four wins from their first six fixtures and sitting second on the table. They were held to a goalless draw by FC Union Berlin in their most recent league outing, and the club report they will be keen to maintain their domestic form.

Eintracht Frankfurt, managed by Adi Hütter, have been inconsistent in the league campaign and have registered just two wins so far, occupying 11th place on the standings. The Eagles’ previous match produced a 1-0 victory against FC Köln, and they travel to Signal Iduna Park as the visiting side.

Serhou Guirassy struck a brace to help Borussia Dortmund secure a 2-1 Champions League victory against Sabah FK in their recent continental fixture; the forward is described in the preview as 30 years old and set to lead Dortmund’s attack. The preview notes his brace and frames him as a continuing attacking threat for BVB.

The piece refers to a 23-year-old Eintracht player who scored the match-winning goal for the Eagles in their last Bundesliga match against FC Köln and says he will be a key presence in Frankfurt’s final third. Dortmund will be without Emre Can, Giannis Konstantelias, Justin Lerma and Konstantinos Karetsas through injury; Eintracht will miss Jessic Ngankam and Malik Pimpong due to injury.

Projected lineups supplied in the preview list the following XIs: Kobel (GK); Gadou, Anton, Schlotterbeck; Ryerson, Bellingham, Nmecha, Svensson; Nwaneri, Beier; Guirassy. Eintracht Frankfurt are shown as: Atubolu (GK); Maluze, Koch, Brassier, Kosugi; Doan, Onyedika, Gotze, Chaibi; Burkardt, Ebnoutalib.

The preview concludes with a match score prediction of Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Eintracht Frankfurt and provides broadcast details for viewers: UK coverage on Sky Sports, Amazon Prime Video and BBC, with Zee5 available for live streams of all matches.
