Bradley Barcola completes move from PSG to Liverpool in deal worth up to £123m

Bradley Barcola completed his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool on 31 August 2026, with an initial fee of £106m that could rise to £123m, and has declared his ambition to win the Premier League. The France international has signed for the club and said winning the title is a priority for him.

Barcola, who will be 24 on Wednesday, said of the move: “It took a long time but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play,” Barcola said. “I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life. It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that’s why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it.” The Frenchman had been a long-term target for Liverpool after they tracked his progress over a number of seasons.

Completing the transfer was delayed while PSG waited to make signings to compensate for Barcola’s exit; he attracted interest from other clubs but was determined to join Liverpool.
