Brock Lesnar was inducted into the University of Minnesota’s M Club Hall of Fame on Saturday as part of the 2026 class. The ceremony followed a July announcement that Lesnar would be among ten inductees this year.

Lesnar transferred to the University of Minnesota in 1998 from Bismarck State College on a wrestling scholarship and won the 2000 NCAA Division I heavyweight title. During his collegiate career he compiled a 106-5 record, was a two-time NCAA All-American and a two-time Big Ten Conference champion.

Lesnar called the day on his pro-wrestling career following his Hell in a Cell bout at SummerSlam 2026 against Oba Femi. His final WWE match took place inside a Hell in a Cell structure at SummerSlam on August 1, 2026.

After the match Lesnar showed his respect to Oba Femi and called him the future of the WWE. Former WWE star Shelton Benjamin attended the induction; Benjamin was Lesnar’s college roommate and former coach at the University of Minnesota.

The other nine members of the HOF 2026 class included Guillermo Alvarez (Gymnastics), Lauren Gibbemeyer-Mendes (Volleyball), Jody Horak (Women’s Hockey), Sean Lumpkin (Football), Luke Appert (Baseball), Lezlie Weiss (Softball), Daniel Croaston (Swim & Dive), Larry Olimb (Men’s Hockey), Sarah (Wilhite), and Parsons (Volleyball).

Lesnar is also a member of the Bismarck State College Hall of Fame (2005). He first rose to prominence in the early 2000s by winning the WWE Championship months after his debut and becoming the youngest champion at the time, left WWE in 2004, returned in 2012, and went on to capture multiple WWE and Universal Championships and headline several WrestleMania events.

There are now rumors about his possible induction into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2027, with Paul Heyman seen as the leading candidate to induct him.
