Bron Breakker lands awkwardly but finishes six-man tag at WWE live event in Hawaii

Bron Breakker landed awkwardly during a six-man tag team match at a WWE live event in Hawaii on October 17 but continued and completed the bout, according to full footage of the incident.

Breakker had missed time in 2026 after undergoing surgery for a hernia in February and subsequently returned to WWE programming, resuming his position as one of RAW’s prominent performers. He took part in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match on October 10, a performance described as one of the standout displays of that premium live event despite ultimately failing to win the briefcase, and fans responded positively to WWE’s highlight of the Ladder match.

At the October 17 live event, Breakker teamed with Bronson Reed and Austin Theory against Oba Femi, LA Knight and Penta; his side lost to Femi, Knight and Penta. The match drew strong reactions from the crowd in attendance.

The sequence that caused concern came when Breakker attempted his Frankensteiner from the turnbuckle on LA Knight; Knight slipped out of the move, Breakker appeared to lose his footing and landed awkwardly around his neck and upper-body area, and the referee checked on him. The incident quickly drew attention online and generated rumors about a possible injury.

Complete video footage showed that the former Intercontinental Champion continued competing and even finished the match, which observers noted as a positive sign. As of October 18, 2026, WWE has not officially confirmed whether Breakker suffered an injury during the October 17 live event.

Following his return from hernia surgery, Breakker had been heavily involved in WWE’s plans and entered a feud with Je’Von Evans after the Money in the Bank match-up; his recent dominant performances were described as positioning him as a serious threat in the main-event picture and his association with The Vision continued to give him a prominent place in WWE storylines.

Bron Breakker is scheduled to appear on the October 19 episode of Raw, where General Manager Adam Pearce has booked him against Penta. "Your OFFICIAL #WWERaw Mini-Preview for tomorrow night in SAN DIEGO!📺: 8e/5p LIVE on @Netflix! pic.twitter.com/Q2VbvfJkvN"
