Team India has firmed up plans for Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the New Zealand series on October 15, 2026, with the pace spearhead unlikely to feature in India's five‑match ODI series as team management prioritises his red‑ball workload.

Bumrah could play one India A match before joining the Test squad. India's ODI and Test squads are likely to be announced in the next few days.
