Caluori scores as Saracens beat Bristol 30-7 at StoneX Stadium

Saracens defeated Bristol Bears 30-7 at the StoneX Stadium on 10 October 2026 in a Premiership match, with Noah Caluori among the scorers and Saracens claiming the full five points.
Caluori returned from wrist surgery to make his first Premiership start of the season and dived one-handed into the corner to score early; Bristol, meanwhile, suffered their first defeat of the 2026-27 campaign and have now failed to win in all eight of their Premiership visits to Saracens’ home since they reached the top flight.
Saracens opened the scoring four minutes into the game after they stripped the ball from Bristol in midfield and moved it wide for Caluori to touch down, and Owen Farrell added two penalties to make it 11-0 by half-time; Olamide Sodeke was sent to the sin bin for a head-on-head tackle on George Taylor during the first half.
Bristol finally got on the board early in the second half when Harry Randall, linking with Aidan Boshoff, ran in unopposed, but they had been denied earlier when Jack Bracken intercepted Sam Worsley’s pass to stop Louis Rees-Zammit scoring in the corner and when Luka Ivanishvili was bundled into touch near the line.
Saracens restored control when prop Alex O'Driscoll barged over for his first Premiership try, and a subsequent collapse of a driving maul by replacement prop Lovejoy Chawatama led to a penalty try being awarded to the hosts.
Jack Bracken then secured the bonus-point score by evading one tackler and holding off another to finish in the corner; Farrell contributed a conversion and two penalties across the match as Saracens closed out the victory.
Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam, speaking to BBC Radio Bristol, said: "You have to come here with the right mindset and physicality and we certainly brought that, we were right in the fight. "We just couldn't get our attack going at all because of execution. But the big thing that I didn't mind was some massive defensive efforts. "Unfortunately, we were very, very clunky on our attack - balls going out the back, so many balls going down - we had an opportunity just before half-time to score which would have been good. "Here you've got to be precise, you've got to take your opportunities and we didn't do that."
