Caluori try helps Saracens beat Bristol 30-7 at StoneX Stadium

Saracens defeated Bristol Bears 30-7 at the StoneX Stadium in a Premiership match on 10 October 2026. Noah Caluori scored and Owen Farrell added two penalties and a conversion as the hosts ran out comfortable winners.
Caluori had missed the first two games of the season while recovering from wrist surgery and marked his return by scoring four minutes into his first game since the operation after Saracens stripped the ball in midfield and moved it wide. Farrell's two first-half penalties and the unanswered try left Saracens 11-0 at the interval. The result was Bristol's first defeat of the 2026-27 campaign and extended their wait for a win at Saracens' home to eight Premiership visits since they reached the top flight.
Early in the contest Saracens forced the turnover that led to Caluori's score, and Farrell converted two penalties to open the hosts' lead. Olamide Sodeke was sent to the sin bin for a head-on-head tackle on George Taylor, but Bristol could not make the numerical advantage count. Just before half-time Jack Bracken intercepted Sam Worsley's pass to deny Louis Rees-Zammit a try in the corner, and Luka Ivanishvili was bundled into touch close to the line.
Harry Randall drew Bristol level on the scoreboard early in the second half, teaming with Aidan Boshoff to break down the left and run in unopposed. Saracens reasserted control when prop Alex O'Driscoll barged over for his first Premiership try. Replacement prop Lovejoy Chawatama was later sent to the sin bin for collapsing a driving maul and Saracens were awarded a penalty try.
Jack Bracken secured the bonus-point score by skipping past one tackler and holding off a second to dive into the corner, completing Saracens' scoring. The win gave Saracens a clear margin and saw Bristol gradually fade after their early second-half reply.
Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam told BBC Radio Bristol: "You have to come here with the right mindset and physicality and we certainly brought that, we were right in the fight. "We just couldn't get our attack going at all because of execution. But the big thing that I didn't mind was some massive defensive efforts. "Unfortunately, we were very, very clunky on our attack - balls going out the back, so many balls going down - we had an opportunity just before half-time to score which would have been good. "Here you've got to be precise, you've got to take your opportunities and we didn't do that."
