Chenai wins Asian Games mixed team trap gold using father's 30-year-old gun

Kynan Chenai and Neeru Dhanda won mixed team trap gold at the Asian Games, the Times of India reported on October 1, 2026.

Chenai used a 30-year-old gun borrowed from his father, Darius Chenai, who is a two-time national trap champion and won both his national titles with the same barrel.

Kynan called his father one of his biggest inspirations and the biggest support in his shooting career, and said he is "more hungry" now, from Rio 2016 to his Los Angeles 2028 goal.
