Churchill Brothers v Mumbai City: ISL 2026-27 — when and where to watch
Churchill Brothers FC will host Mumbai City FC at Fatorda Stadium in Goa on Sunday, 11 October 2026 in an Indian Super League 2026-27 fixture that kicks off at 19:30 IST. The game will be shown live on Sony Sports Network, streamed on SonyLIV and available for free on YouTube.
A debutant in the ISL will face a two-time ISL champion as Churchill Brothers — winners of the Durand Cup three times and the I-League twice — return to top-tier competition after Jamshedpur FC transferred their ISL stake to the Goan side. Fatorda Stadium recently staged the opening-day match between FC Goa and Chennaiyin FC, and this fixture is scheduled as the second day’s fourth match of the new season. Both teams will aim to begin their campaigns positively.
Mumbai City missed a chance to claim last season’s title after East Bengal FC defeated Inter Kashi on the final matchday and secured the championship on goal difference. The Islanders enter the new campaign under a revised coaching approach led by Manolo Marquez and following a number of offseason signings, and they will seek all three points in the away fixture.
Churchill Brothers make an ISL debut despite a long domestic pedigree, and the club’s return to the top tier is presented as an iconic moment for the Goan side. Playing at home is expected to be a boost for Churchill Brothers when they host Mumbai City in the evening fixture.
Broadcast arrangements for the match include live television on Sony Ten 2 and Sony Ten 2 HD, with digital streams on SonyLIV and a free live feed on YouTube; SonyLIV will carry all 163 ISL matches in India and the entire 2026-27 season will be available free on YouTube. Sony Sports Network and SonyLIV will offer commentary in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Bengali, with Malayalam coverage reserved for Kerala Blasters matches, Tamil for Chennaiyin FC games, and Bengali for East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant fixtures.
