Clash of Clans-WWE crossover begins with John Cena base hunt and Cody Rhodes statue available

Clash of Clans and WWE have launched a second crossover event inside the mobile game, with Cody Rhodes mobilising players to locate John Cena’s hidden base in players’ villages from September 1 through September 30, 2026. Players who successfully raid Cena’s loot-filled village can earn a one-time-only Cody Rhodes statue for their village.

Clash of Clans, which has over two billion lifetime downloads, returns to partner with WWE for this limited-time collaboration. The rivalry driving the event stems from both men’s long history with the game: Rhodes is described as a decade-long player and he has recruited the Clash of Clans community and fellow WWE Superstars to assist in the hunt for Cena’s base.

Beginning today, September 1st, through September 30th, Cena’s loot-filled base will appear throughout players’ daily raids; the more players raid, the higher the chance of locating the elusive WWE Legend. A successful raid on Cena’s village is required to claim the exclusive event items, and the promotion cautions that Cena’s base is no easy target — "It’s not like a 17-time WWE World Champion is going to have a rookie base."

"People think this started in the ring with Cody. It didn’t. It started when I out-raided him in the game and he threw me off his team," says Cena. "Ten years later he still needs help. This time he’s asking millions of you to take on my base. That’s fine. As I have always said – if you want some, come get some."

The crossover reimagines six WWE Superstars as Clash of Clans Hero characters and features the return of Cody Rhodes as The Barbarian King. Players can experience WWE-themed content across the event, including temporary troops and a branded village theme tied to WWE Money in the Bank, taking place in New Orleans on October 10th, while WWE chests contain items such as Action Figure Equipment, Challenge Tickets and a guaranteed Cody Rhodes Skin.

Download Clash of Clans for iOS or Google Play to participate in Rhodes’s Search for Cena until September 30th and attempt the multiplayer raids that can reveal John Cena’s hidden village. Successfully defeating Cena’s base will reward players with exclusive event items beyond the Cody Rhodes statue.
