Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026: Men's points table updated after Day 6

On Day 6 of the Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026, men’s group-stage matches produced results that confirmed three of the four semi-finalists, leaving a single semi-final berth to be decided on the final day.
The group stage has entered its closing phase and India did not play on Day 6 but had already secured a place in the semi-finals. Two semi-finalists from Group A — Sri Lanka and India — are confirmed, each recording 5 wins in 5 games, while the other Group A teams have been eliminated from semi-final contention.
Kenya opened Day 6 with a 49–20 win over Canada, a victory that kept them unbeaten and clinched their semi-final spot. Malaysia beat Nigeria 78–13 in the second match. Bangladesh defeated Australia 69–31, and Uganda recorded a 35–28 win over Tanzania. Sri Lanka closed the day with a 50–22 victory against England.
In Group A, Sri Lanka top the table with 5 wins from 5 games and India sit alongside them with 5 wins in 5. Malaysia remain third with 3 wins in 6 games, while Uganda are fourth with 3 wins in 5 games. Tanzania occupy fifth place with 1 win in 5 games and England are sixth with 1 win in 5 games; Nigeria are bottom with no wins in 5 games and have entertained fans with their celebrations and vibes.
Group B has one confirmed semi-finalist: Kenya lead with 4 wins in 4 games. Bangladesh sit second in Group B with 3 wins in 4 games, and one more win could confirm their place in the semi-finals. Canada and Singapore are third and fourth respectively, each with 2 wins in 4 matches and still in contention. Scotland are fifth with 1 win in 4 matches and eliminated, while Australia are bottom with no wins in 4 matches and are also out of the race.
Only one semi-final spot remains across the two groups and will be resolved on the final day of group-stage play. The teams still vying for that remaining place include Bangladesh, Canada and Singapore in Group B, and the final day will determine which team joins Kenya, Sri Lanka and India in the semi-finals.
