Countdown to TNA Lockdown 2026 Live at Credit Union 1 Arena
TNA will stage the 13th Lockdown at the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago on Sunday, August 23, 2026, with every match on the card contested inside a steel cage.
The event marks Lockdown’s return after a gap since 2016 and is TNA’s first Lockdown pay-per-view outing since 2014. Organisers have scheduled multiple title matches and specialty stipulations for the card as TNA returns to the PPV scene.
TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) are booked to defend their titles inside a steel cage against The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth. TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions DemonXBunny (Rosemary and Allie) will put their belts on the line in a steel cage against The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance). Both matches are listed among the advertised cage title defenses for Lockdown.
Additional singles and specialty matches announced include A. J. Francis versus Elijah in a steel cage and an Escape the Cage match pitting Frankie Kazarian against Moose. Jason Hotch is scheduled to defend the TNA Intercontinental title inside a steel cage against Mustafa Ali. Xia Brookside is set to defend the TNA Knockouts World title against Elayna Black inside a steel cage. A Lethal Lockdown match will feature The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, and Alisha Edwards) against the team of Ricky Sosa, Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, and Jada Stone. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella announced at an AAW Wrestling event that AAW Heavyweight Champion Joe Alonzo will defend the AAW title against The Home Town Man in a dark match at Lockdown, with the added condition that if Joe wins he will get a TNA Contract.
