Kadeena Cox won her second gold medal at the Para-cycling Track World Championships in the Netherlands on 1 November 2026, securing the C4 sprint title.

In qualifying for the C4 sprint she recorded a world-best 11.409 seconds. The 35-year-old eased through the semi-finals before edging Australia's Tara Neyland on the line in a close final to claim her first individual sprint world title. On Friday the five-time Paralympic gold medallist had already taken the C4 1km gold with another world record.

Great Britain also took gold in the men's tandem sprint. James Ball and Aaron Pope won the men's race, their second golds of the championships. Their tandem victory added to the 1km time-trial win they had previously secured.

GB claimed the women's tandem sprint as well, with Sophie Unwin and Jenny Holl winning comfortably to take their sixth world title. Lizzi Jordan and Anna Whitworth-Hay claimed the bronze medal. Jordan and Whitworth-Hay beat Germany in the third-place decider.

Elisabeth Simpson took silver in the women's C2 sprint. Archie Atkinson won silver in the men's C4 scratch. Fin Graham earned silver in the men's C3 elimination race.

The medals take Great Britain's tally at the championships to six golds, eight silvers and five bronze. The report was published on 1 November 2026.
