Cristiano Ronaldo returned to training for Al-Nassr on Thursday, August 13, 2026, after taking part in the FIFA World Cup 2026, and unveiled a new cropped brownish hairstyle.

The Portuguese forward had been given a holiday by the Saudi Pro League side to recuperate following the tournament. He appeared at the session wearing a black T-shirt and with a clean-shaven look. "Cristiano Ronaldo got a new look 👀 💈 pic.twitter.com/oUtkdbWa8f"

The haircut represents a marked departure from the back-brushed hairstyle he wore for several years at Al-Nassr and even at the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The veteran forward is looking to freshen up his look ahead of what could be the final season of his professional career.

Ronaldo is coming off a brilliant season with Al-Nassr, leading the club to the Saudi Pro League title last season – his first since moving to the Middle East. While he has won virtually everything there is to win in football – barring the World Cup – he still has one goal left to conquer.

The forward has made his wish clear to reach the 1,000-goal mark, something only the legendary Pele has achieved. Ronaldo currently has 976 official goals, which means that he can reach this milestone this season.

He would also seek to lead Al-Nassr, who are currently facing some financial troubles, to back-to-back league titles.

The team start their Saudi Pro League campaign on August 15 with a match against Al Fateh.
