Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park in the 10th matchweek of the 2026-27 Premier League season, with Alexis Mac Allister, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak scoring for the visitors. Eddie Nketiah converted a stoppage-time penalty for Crystal Palace.

Liverpool returned to winning form after consecutive defeats to Arsenal and Fenerbahce, while Crystal Palace created chances but were not clinical in the final third and dropped three points. The defeat has increased scrutiny on Palace boss Pierre Sage, whose position the report notes may be at risk.

Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring in the 40th minute when Dominik Szoboszlai delivered an accurate set-piece that resulted in the goal. "Three goals and three points ✊ #CRYLIV pic.twitter.com/6WJfnIhr4a"

Florian Wirtz extended Liverpool’s lead in the 54th minute, putting the visitors in a commanding position. Alexander Isak, after a slow start, scored in the final moments to make it 3-0. "Isak’s a Red, ole ole…" 🎶 pic.twitter.com/ME0QB7Km48

Yeremy Pino was Crystal Palace’s most active attacking player, taking the most shots (6) and registering the most touches (73); the Spaniard was also shown a yellow card during the final moments and did not score. Despite multiple attempts in the final third, Palace failed to outscore their opponents.

It was a top-class performance by the Brazilian shortstopper. Alisson Becker produced seven saves to deny Crystal Palace from 15 total shots, and Eddie Nketiah converted a penalty in the 95th minute to prevent a complete shutout for the hosts.

The result was Liverpool’s fifth win in 10 Premier League games and moved the Reds to fourth place on the table; Crystal Palace sit bottom of the points table following the loss.
