Darcy Graham sidelined for autumn internationals after ruptured bicep

Darcy Graham has been ruled out of Scotland's autumn internationals after suffering a ruptured bicep, Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt said on 24 September 2026. Everitt said Graham will be sidelined for "a minimum of 12 weeks".

The 29-year-old Edinburgh winger is Scotland's record try-scorer. He has 38 tries from his 57 caps. He will miss the home Tests against New Zealand, Australia and Japan and therefore will not have the chance to add to that tally.

Everitt revealed Graham is facing at least 12 weeks on the sidelines as he recovers from the rupture. He described the collision incident as "pretty freakish". "That's not good news for us and not good news for him, especially with the autumn series coming up," Everitt added.

In the summer, Scotland beat Argentina and Fiji either side of a 42-28 defeat in South Africa. Those results have Gregor Townsend's side sitting second behind France in the northern hemisphere standings.

Scotland continue their Nations Championship fixtures against New Zealand at Murrayfield on 7 November, with Australia and Japan in Edinburgh on the following weekends. The inaugural series will culminate with a finals weekend at Twickenham on 27 and 28 November.
