Dilip Tirkey lodges Delhi Police complaint alleging criminal breach of trust, theft

Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey filed a complaint with the Delhi Police on September 25, 2026, as a row within Hockey India escalated.

The complaint was lodged against several officials for misconduct and includes allegations of criminal breach of trust and theft of personal belongings.

Tirkey’s filing follows ongoing disputes with secretary general Bhola Nath Singh over administrative issues and comes after a controversial jersey color change allegedly made without Tirkey’s approval.
