Djokovic wins seventh China Open, one ATP title behind Federer

Novak Djokovic claimed a record seventh China Open title on October 6, 2026, when Alex de Minaur retired injured while leading 7-6(3), 0-1.

The victory was Djokovic's 102nd ATP singles title, moving him one behind Roger Federer.

Djokovic's run at the China Open includes a 34-match winning streak, and de Minaur lamented the premature conclusion while remaining hopeful for a rematch in next year's tournament.
