DPL 2026 Team of the Tournament includes Yash Dhull and Ayush Badoni

South Delhi Superstarz beat Central Delhi Kings to win the 2026 Delhi Premier League at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in 2026, and a DPL 2026 Team of the Tournament has been named featuring Yash Dhull and Ayush Badoni.
The third edition of the Delhi Premier League featured eight franchises competing across 44 matches after the competition began on July 31, with fixtures staged at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Central Delhi Kings finished the league stage top with nine wins from 10 matches while South Delhi Superstarz ended the round in second place. South Delhi Superstarz defeated Central Delhi Kings in the first qualifier to reach the final, and Central Delhi Kings recovered by beating Purani Dilli 6 in the second qualifier to become the other finalists. Both finalists had previously appeared in DPL finals but had not been crowned champions before this edition.
Opening the Team of the Tournament, Ranjan led the run-scorers with 493 runs at an average of 54.78 and a strike rate of 167.69, scoring several boundaries and anchoring the powerplay role. Yash Dhull, identified among the competition’s most destructive batters, accumulated 410 runs at a strike rate of 214.66 and was one of the centurions in the DPL season.
From North Delhi Strikers, Bhatia delivered consistency with 357 runs across nine innings at an average of 59.50 and a strike rate above 158. Central Delhi Kings captain Jonty Sidhu provided middle-overs stability for his side, compiling 362 runs at a strike rate of 181.
Anmol Sharma was the first Superstarz batter named in the side, scoring 414 runs in 11 innings and producing a match-winning performance in the DPL final. Joon combined wicket-keeping duties with explosive batting for Central Delhi Kings, scoring 327 runs in 12 matches at a strike rate over 204 and finishing with the most sixes in the tournament at 34.
South Delhi Superstarz skipper Ayush Badoni is the designated finisher and is named captain of the Team of the Tournament; he scored 281 runs in eight matches at a strike rate of 186.09, and the selection notes his experience in the IPL and for India A.
The bowling unit is led by Gavnish Khurana, who topped the charts with 21 wickets and bowls left-arm, paired with Anshuman Hooda who also claimed 21 wickets despite playing fewer matches. Central Delhi Kings pacer Money Grewal took 18 wickets while working closely with Gavnish Khurana, and Harsh Tyagi completed the attack as a specialist spinner with 16 wickets in 10 appearances and is listed as the second spinner alongside Ayush Badoni on the side.
South Delhi Superstarz secured their first-ever DPL title in 2026, and Anmol Sharma was named the Most Valuable Player / Player of the Tournament for the Delhi Premier League 2026.
