Squads for the six teams set to compete in India’s Duleep Trophy 2026-27 — Central Zone, North Zone, West Zone, South Zone, East Zone and North East Zone — are listed ahead of the tournament, which begins on August 23. The competition opens the domestic red-ball season and features several established names from Indian cricket.

The Duleep Trophy is India’s premier first-class competition on the domestic circuit, first held in 1961–62 and played in 62 editions to date. The 2026 edition will start on August 23 (Sunday) and will kick off the Indian domestic red-ball season. The schedule begins with East Zone facing North East Zone, with North Zone meeting West Zone in the second quarter-final on the same date. The tournament’s squads include players such as Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mohammed Shami, Ishan Kishan, Rajat Patidar, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Tilak Varma.

Rajat Patidar (C) leads a squad that lists Rinku Singh (VC) and wicketkeepers Aryan Juyal and Kunal Singh Rathod. Other players named alongside them are Saransh Jain, Aman Mokhade, Zeeshan Ansari, Aryan Pandey and Arshad Khan. The remainder of the group comprises Kunal Chandela, Ayush Pandey, Yash Rathod, Harsh Dubey, Yash Thakur and Nachiket Bhute.

Tilak Varma (C) captains a side with Ricky Bhui as vice-captain and N. Jagadeesan designated as wicketkeeper. That squad also includes K. Himateja, R. Smaran, Karun Nair and Shreyas Gopal. Additional members are Abhinav Tejrana, Shaik Rasheed, Tanay Thyagarajan, K. Sai Teja, Tripurana Vijay, Aman Khan, Vidwath Kaverappa and M.D. Nideesh.

Ishan Kishan (C) heads a team with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi named vice-captain and Kumar Kushagra listed as wicketkeeper. The group features Abhimanyu Easwaran, Sudip Gharami, Shahbaz Ahmed and Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal. Mohammed Shami, Mukesh Kumar, Shikhar Mohan, Anukul Roy, Virat Singh, Subhranshu Senapati, Denish Das and Abhijit Sarkar complete that roster.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (C) leads a side that includes Shams Mulani as vice-captain and Harvik Desai as wicketkeeper. The squad names Prithvi Shaw, Shivalik Sharma, Sarfaraz Khan and Jaymeet Patel among its members. Musheer Khan, Shardul Thakur, Urvil Patel, Siddharth Desai, Tanush Kotian, Atit Seth, Tushar Deshpande and Mukesh Chaudhary are also part of this group.

Kanhaiya Wadhawan (C) captains a team with Ayush Badoni as vice-captain and other players such as Yash Dhull, Ayush Doseja, Abdul Samad and Nishant Sindhu. The list also includes Sanat Sangwan, Qamran Iqbal, Arjun Sharma, Anshul Kamboj and Abid Mushtaq. Jonathan Rongsen (C) fronts the remaining squad, which contains Robin Limboo, Techi Neri, Bishworjit Singh Konthoujam, Imliwati Lemtur, Kishan Lyndoh, Arpit Subhas, Priyojit K. Ronald Meitei, Joseph Lal Thankhuma, Akash Kumar Choudhary, Lalrempuia, Jotin Singh Pheiroijam, Vino G. Zhimomi and Ashish Thapa.

The Duleep Trophy 2026-27 begins on August 23 with East Zone facing North East Zone and North Zone meeting West Zone on the same day; Central Zone enter the competition as the defending champions after beating South Zone in the previous final.
