Durand Cup 2026 semi-finals set for 19-20 August

East Bengal FC, Sporting Club Delhi, Mohun Bagan Super Giant and NorthEast United FC will contest the semi-finals of the 135th Durand Cup on 19 and 20 August 2026 in Kolkata and Shillong. Both fixtures are scheduled to kick off at 19:00 IST.
The 135th edition of the tournament, featuring 24 participating sides, reached the semi-final stage after quarter-final matches played on 16 and 17 August produced the last four teams. The semi-finals will determine which two sides progress to the final.
East Bengal FC progressed to the last four with a 1-0 quarter-final win over Indian Army FT, Antonio Habas’s side advancing courtesy of PV Vishnu’s 38th-minute goal. The club is listed to play its semi-final in Kolkata at VYBK (Salt Lake Stadium) on 19 August at 19:00 IST.
Sporting Club Delhi reached the semi-finals after a 5-1 quarter-final victory over FC Raengdai in which Joseph Sunny scored a brace; SC Delhi had topped their group earlier in the competition. That win set up their meeting with East Bengal FC on 19 August.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant secured a semi-final berth by edging Jamshedpur FC on penalties, the shootout finishing 9 (1) – 8 (1) after the match was drawn in regulation time; Devendra scored for Jamshedpur and Sahal Abdul Samad levelled for Mohun Bagan. Mohun Bagan, who played the quarter-final at home, will travel to Shillong for their semi-final tie on 20 August.
NorthEast United FC advanced with a 5-2 quarter-final victory over Shillong Lajong FC, Alaaeddine Ajaraie recording a hat-trick while Ethyan and Jithin MS added the other goals; Figo Syndai and Jota were the scorers for Shillong Lajong. NorthEast United’s semi-final is scheduled for 20 August at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong.
The confirmed semi-final schedule is: Sporting Club Delhi vs East Bengal FC on 19 August 2026, 19:00 IST at VYBK (Salt Lake Stadium), Kolkata; and Mohun Bagan Super Giant vs NorthEast United FC on 20 August 2026, 19:00 IST at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong.
