EA FC 26 servers offline for scheduled maintenance on August 12, 2026

EA Sports FC has scheduled server maintenance for EA FC 26 on August 12, 2026, with online services set to be unavailable from 08:00 UTC to 10:30 UTC. The publisher posted the maintenance window on the official EA Sports FC account on X.
The maintenance will be applied to EA SPORTS FC 26 on all platforms and is expected to last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. EA has said offline game modes should remain accessible while features that require EA Online servers will be temporarily unavailable. Match creation will be disabled 30 minutes before the scheduled start of maintenance.
Match creation will be closed beginning at 07:30 UTC, and players may be disconnected from ongoing online sessions. During the maintenance window, users could also experience issues logging into EA SPORTS FC 26.
EA listed specific online features that may be inaccessible during the work, including Ultimate Team, Clubs, Seasons and matchmaking. These services rely on EA Online and will be affected for the duration of the maintenance.
EA attributed the downtime to routine work on legacy game content and backend systems, including efforts to improve server stability and to fix technical issues affecting online play. The company said the maintenance aims to address those technical areas.
EA stated the intended benefits from the updates include a smoother experience, improved matchmaking, better connectivity and enhanced server performance for EA FC 26 players. Those outcomes were cited as the purpose of the backend and stability work.
The maintenance window runs from 08:00 UTC to 10:30 UTC on August 12, 2026, with match creation disabled from 07:30 UTC; offline modes remain available while EA performs the scheduled updates.
