EA FC 27 to launch Destined for Glory Ultimate Team promo on September 25, 2026

EA Sports FC will roll out the Destined for Glory live promotion in EA FC 27's Ultimate Team on September 25, 2026, following the game's launch. EA Sports has scheduled the event to go live at 6 PM BST / 10 AM PT and said the promo will remain active until October 9, 2026.

EA released comprehensive pitch notes ahead of FC 27's launch and confirmed the Destined for Glory event as part of the live-content plan. The publisher said fans can expect two promos during the Destined for Glory window. The company described the promo items as special live cards that can receive upgrades throughout the season and that those upgrades will be tied to real-world football performances.

EA confirmed the first batch of players for the promotion, selected through fans’ voting alongside developers’ picks: Kylian Mbappé, Alexander Isak, Morgan Rogers, Bryan Mbeumo and Mateus Fernandes. Those five players will be issued live cards under the Destined for Glory umbrella. The title called these items part of the first wave of content tied to community voting and studio selections.

Progress tracking for Destined for Glory will begin on September 18, 2026, and EA said the cards will have varying upgrade requirements. Attackers and midfielders in the promo will advance via goals and assists. Defenders and central defensive midfielders will progress based on clean sheets.

EA published a social post summarising the broader FC 27 pitch notes, which it said cover the Launch Roadmap, Key Dates, Improved Rewards, Community TOTW Vote, Less Promo Cards, New ICON changes, OTWs and the Destined for Glory Promo.
