EA Sports reveals EA FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 2 with themed objectives, SBCs and POTM talk
EA Sports revealed the EA FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 2 promo for Ultimate Team on October 31, 2026, announcing themed objectives, SBCs and related content ahead of November. The company indicated the promotion will include position shifts and unique EVO items alongside the usual objective and SBC offerings.
Team 2 is said to feature high-profile names including Lionel Messi, Olise and Valverde, and the new content is expected to arrive before November 6, 2026. Fans will be able to complete a range of objectives and Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) tied to the promo, according to the announcement and accompanying leaks. The publisher’s promotional messaging referenced in-game tokens and retro cosmetic items as part of the event rollout.
EA Sports’ preview directed players to accumulate Scream Tokens and unlock retro FUT shells, and it highlighted a Beaver Moon event on 24 November that will grant a seven-day 99 stat boost and full chemistry. Ultimate Scream cards are expected to receive a temporary 99-rated face stat and full in-position chemistry beginning on November 24, 2026. The promotional material also referenced unsettling position shifts and unique EVOs arriving as part of Ultimate Scream Team 2.
Leaks circulating ahead of the official drop list several players who will join the promo as SBCs or Objectives, with those items scheduled to be released gradually before November 6, 2026. The precise player list and timing of each SBC or objective have been shared by leakers but are being issued over a phased schedule rather than all at once. EA Sports has not published the full list on its official site at the time of the report.
Separately, the LA LIGA Player of the Month promo is expected to arrive next week, and many fans are speculating that Kylian Mbappe might be the favourite to win the award over Lamine Yamal. If Mbappe wins, some fans anticipate that an associated SBC could become one of the most expensive of the season.
Leaks suggest Kylian Mbappé is currently the favorite to win the La Liga Player of the Month award, although EA Sports has not officially confirmed the winner. The developer’s lack of confirmation leaves the POTM outcome and any linked SBC pricing subject to further announcements from EA.
