EA to take EA SPORTS FC servers offline for five-hour maintenance on Oct. 21, 2026

EA Sports has announced scheduled server maintenance for its EA SPORTS FC titles on October 21, 2026, taking online services offline from 06:00 UTC to 11:00 UTC across all platforms. During the maintenance window online multiplayer and related services will be unavailable, though players will still be able to use offline modes.

The maintenance spans roughly five hours and may cause players to be disconnected or unable to access online features during that period. EA said the work will affect every platform and warned that online match creation will be suspended ahead of the outage. The company set the maintenance start and end times as 06:00 UTC and 11:00 UTC respectively.

EA posted, "Match creation will be disabled 30 min before the maintenance." Titles explicitly impacted are EA SPORTS FC 27, EA SPORTS FC 26, EA SPORTS FC 25 and EA SPORTS FC 24.

EA noted that online modes hosted on its servers — including Ultimate Team and online matchmaking — may be temporarily unavailable while the maintenance is underway. The publisher also advised players involved in Rivals, Champions, Clubs or other online competitions to complete required games well in advance of the maintenance window to avoid being cut off.

The stated purpose of the downtime is to improve stability, performance and gameplay for the affected titles. EA expects the maintenance to conclude at 11:00 UTC, but said the timing could change if additional work is required.

EA directed players to monitor its official EA Sports FC social media channels for updates and announcements about the downtime; Khel Now also urged readers to follow Khel Now Gaming on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, download the Khel Now Android App or IOS App, or join its communities on Telegram and Whatsapp for further updates.
